I'm very tired of the mailman story. I could bore everyone all day about my dad living in the slums of Bed-Stuy in an apartment with no windows, and of course no AC, so it was an oven in the summer, and the family had to sleep on the roof, and his working nights during high school because his Dad refused to work, to help feed the family, and he could not afford to go to college even with a full scholarship, because he had to continue to be the bread winner with his brother. Yeah, I would skip the part about the little detail that by the time I was born, he was very prosperous.
