On the new right wing TV network One America, Tomi Lahren states that we need to "bring the fight to them" and "put the fear of God in their desert" (that sounds scarily similar to what ISIS would say). She also said some ridiculous statements that encourage profiling of ordinary Muslims such as "radical Islam is becoming the rule, not the exception" and "yesterday's moderate is today's terrorist". All this over the Chattanooga attack.
In my opinion, absolutely everything that's wrong with the 'conservative' outlook on the world. To bring another war into the middle east, to fight against a group at least partially created by the destabilization of the Iraqi government via the Iraq War, is insane. The tight nationalist grip of their outlook is driving the US into fiscal insanity and endless military intervention.
Was Tomi specific about just how the "fight should be brought to them?" We already are to some extent. Folks who yammer away without specific recommendations, which specific recommendations they then defend, are pretty useless really - well other than making Naso et al feel good.

Just why the US should interject itself much further in the multiple civil wars over there, with most of the warring factions themselves rather unsavory, absent clear and convincing evidence, that otherwise with no other options, the terrorism is coming over here to a substantially greater degree, escapes me. It's nutter really, just nutter.
Her statement about Muslims that radical Islam is now the rule rather than the exception, is just flat out wrong of course, and may be animated by bigotry.
