Unlikely. In a word, he's not qualified. The Pubs would have to nominate someone even less qualified than him, or otherwise toxic to me, e.g. Cruz (as the one Pub untouchable with some vague possibility of getting nominated). There's a fairly long list of Pub untouchables that won't be nominated of course.
