Per an email from my cousin, via my paternal great grandmother (whose ancestors I knew absolutely nothing about, including their names), I am a descendent of a witch, burned at the stake at Salem for her "crimes." The clan has been causing trouble ever since! Thank you.

I find in the same branch of the family tree that I am related to another most interesting woman - Emily Dickenson, my 4th cousin 5 times removed. A "closer" relative is her grandfather, Samuel Dickenson, the founder of Amherst College, a second cousin, 7 times removed. Smiley
