Ryan doesn't want to "explain" all the popular deductions that will have to be truncated to get his math into the zone that has some patina of credibility. The end. Thanks.

Mittens thought he was going to get away with being vague. So far, it's not working out for him. Frankly it is kind of insulting - just like Obama's silence on entitlements.

Sentences like the above do for the brain what French Vanilla Ice Cream does to one's arteries. And you missed the bit Politico about where it is impossible to carry out Mittens' "vision" here without a full court press against the big three: deductions for state and local income taxes, mortgage interest on personal residences, and charitable deductions.  None. Not if you are claiming that the "reforms" will be basically revenue neutral.

Mittens is setting himself up to be punching bag in the debates over this. I'd gut him myself. Just gut him. It irritates me.
