Give back to Ceasar what is his due is my interpretation from reading the text.  Which means that only pay taxes which are just. So he embraces kook type tax protestors.  That's my little interpretation, and  I am sticking with it.  I never trusted Christ's politics much really.  He seemed like a risky scheme.  Smiley

This reminds me, what is jmfcst's opinion of Rick Perry?

Him being our resident Republican Texan, after all.

He never hit the man's radar screen, because jmfcst does not watch the local news.

He never hit the man's radar screen, because jfjcst does not watch the local news.

This past weekend I asked my wife, who does watch local news on the little tv in the kitchen, what her impression was of him, and she said the same thing:  he's been basically invisible the last 11+ years.

and even though I didnt watch local news in the 90's, W made news as governor - W was always trying new things to make things better and was very popular.  but Perry has been basically irrelevant.

side note:  why are you disrespecting my moniker?

It was a typo. Sorry.
