You know Thais almost universally believe that South Asians have terrible B.O.

I did pick up a modest buzz that Indians are not all that loved in Thailand. The wrap on them is that they are too pushy, clannish and aggressive. An Indian restaurant owner also commented on that.  There does not seem to be any problem with the Chinese however, and I asked about that as well. I am kind of a nosy guy.

Yeah its funny because the Chinese are easily as bad as the Indians in reality, but Thais tend to look up to them.  White skin I guess.

Ya, the Thais seem partial to white skin, you lucky chap you.   Well, I benefited too, for my all too short stay.
