This is all quite fascinating to me, and I understand the dilemma. However, if a poster is active elsewhere, and knows the personalities, not posting in Atlasia, does not mean that voter is uninformed, and just some dorm mate or some such, who is induced to sign up to Leips, and then vote for his pal or whatever. Perhaps a list of voters who are largely inactive on Leips in general would be of interest.

One other thought. The supreme orgasmic experience here seems to be the elections themselves, and the excitement of the vote count, and strategic voting and the like. If voters largely inactive on Atlasia are prevented from voting, is there some potential that the vote count will become more predictable, and thus of less interest?

And if the goal is to get more posts made on Atlasia, just how realistic an expectation is it, that posters largely inactive on Atlasia will get active in order to vote. And if the requirement is one post in 4 months, would not one strategy be to PM someone, with the text of a post to make on Atlasia that the poster is asked to copy and paste by the requisite deadline?  Will having a bunch of copy and paste posts written by candidates under the name of someone else, enhance the Atlasia experience for you all?

Anyway, those are my thoughts for the moment. Good luck with your endeavor!  Smiley And by the way, this isn't a copy and paste post written by AHDuke, so I guess I am good to go to vote for him again in the next four months per the one substantive post requirement even if you can otherwise deflect the  zombie copy and paste syndrome.  Tongue
