How is the GOP only back by 3 points after two terms?

So that poll is only the first poll of the election and in the modern era, the party who is in power for two consecutive terms doesn't do well in the next as it's called "party fatigue" but we shall see...

I was curious if the administration did some absurd voter-suppressing or something.

In this timeline, the Democrats win both the Senate and House in the 2022 midterms with President Trump's approval rating still wavering. The Republicans tried to pass voter-suppression bills throughout the 2021-2025 term but with Democrats in power, they couldn't get it passed.

Unrealistic, if Harris was on a losing Presidential ticket, and then tried to run in 2024 anyways, she would be destroyed in the primary.

I don't think she would be "destroyed" in the primary, but crazier things have happened.
