Your Honorable Speaker, this amendment pares down the College For All Act to just community colleges. The elimination of tuition for working and middle-class students is an excellent idea.

Your Honorable Speaker, I agree with some of the freed-up funding being shifted over to expand Pell Grants.

Now that a lot of backlog in the bills has been swamp-drained, it is time to make some headway to work on the details of this bill before its passage.

Your Honorable Speaker, it appears that we may finally be on the right track to get this bill finessed and passed.

I would be in favor of it, Representative VPH.

How about some kind of GPA requirement to qualify? I'm not 100% on the idea but what does everybody think?
What GPA requirement would you have in mind?
I wonder this as well; does the representative mean high school GPAs or university GPAs?
As the bill's sponsor, I also would like a clarification on this, too.

I'd go for the 2.5 or higher GPA and 85% attendance rate for high school idea.

I will accept VPH's amendment to this bill. Any concurrences or objections to it?

Would it be possible to redirect money from somewhere to fund this?

I would rather not raise more taxes in a situation where unemployment is almost 8%.
I wouldn't oppose redirecting some money elsewhere fund this.
