This is the worst season for Kentucky basketball in my memory, including the Billy Gillespie years.

For a while it looked like the season was salvageable, but nope.

Oof this is painful. Never did I imagine the football team would be more successful than the basketball team.

Took me a awhile to get on the fire Calipari bandwagon, but here we are. It's not like the schedule gets easier for them either. They still play Tennessee twice, and have home games against Florida and Arkansas.

They're going to need a miracle just to get to the NIT.

The same might be said for said for Duke. The Blue Devils are 5-6, and still have to play North Carolina twice, Louisville, Virginia and Syracuse. They'll also need a miracle to get to the NIT.

Maybe Mike Kryzewski retires after the season?

Lmao. Teams just have bad years once and a while and it’s especially likely during the midst of a pandemic.

Tell that to Gonzaga.

Again Gonzaga's model for building a program is more pandemic friendly because they rely far more on experience. It's why many blue bloods are struggling rn compared to normal.
