I like these types of threads so bringing this back.

Lots of posters share my economic beliefs (which I'd argue are dead center when it comes to red and maroon avatars on here even if my rhetoric doesn't match well with many of the posters that despise populism) but my social views are more tricky since I have some libertarian tendencies socially but it kinda depends on issue. I'm definitely not socially conservative but more just pragmatic. Angry Socdem is the closest from what I suspect but I haven't searched his posts extensively. LD Smith is close too especially in terms of economics but he's religious and probably isn't socially libertarian at all. Pretty close to Ascott (if not 100% identical in terms of economics) but he is more libertarian socially and is a bit different culturally as he is more religious than I am. Virginia may be similar ideologically to me but I think she's more of a cultural liberal than I am. Among blue avatar posters, Fuzzy Bear I think is the closest, although he's a lot more religious than I am.

YE or VPH. Maybe Fuzzy or Santander. My views on abortion have gradually evolved to more of a pro-life stance (ie—supporting a ban on abortions past the 20 week mark when sentience arguably begins, with obvious exceptions for rape, incest and womens’ health). Am more libertarian on other social issues. Not a socialist by any means on economics, but I have views that have gradually evolved and would like a lot more emphasis on early childhood development with Universal Pre-K and Paid Family Leave; pro-child development policies are of the utmost importance in beginnings to eliminate systematic inequalities in opportunities afforded to all children. So I guess you could call me a “Family First” populist.

Seems oddly populist for someone who attacks Atlas blue avatars for being RINOs for not supporting the Trump agenda. Do you want Atlas RINOs in the Dem party?

I could care less where they go. Someone on this echo chamber of a forum has to point out their delusion about how moderate they perceive the Grand Ole Perverts to be. The median Republican voter is much closer to Reaganfan than they are to most the Atlas RINOs (who in turn are closer to the median Democrat, but that’s neither here nor there 😊)

I also think you are under the mistaken impression that I am a Trump supporter.

lol you're not a Trumpist I just find your attitude towards Atlas RINO's funny and how you must convince them (accurately) that the GOP willnominate the most fringe candidate there is for almost every office.

Not_Madigan in terms of the political matrix. I'm just a bit more socially liberal.

Not_Madigan IIRC is probably less of a free trader than you are and even he had a blue avatar pre-Roy Moore. You strike me as a Ron Wyden clone tbh.

Okay now that I'm back to normal....  I'd add VPH to the list of possible twins I made on the previous page.
