The last couple of Censuses have included data on regional party registration, but there are pervasive errors. Of course, legally, this doesn't even fall under the SoFE's jurisdiction; the first minister is supposed to keep a record of each citizen's regional party, but no FM has updated the census since I left office.

News to me. Anyone have a link to when this information was last updated?

Almost all of those “off-site recruits” have already discovered the other boards, so they’ll probably be active users with 50-100 posts by the election. There’s no point in stripping them of their right to participate in this game.

Just look at True Whig! He has made very insightful posts on other boards.

The ones with 50 to 100 posts that joined several weeks ago are traditional recruits.

It’s the people with 16-25 posts or so that look more suspect and are at best close to taboo.

Blindly using partisan registration is never a good way to predict elections.

You can't, which is why I've never pushed too hard on this. But this whole Lincoln Senate election thing is really annoying. Why is more than one entire half of the player base in one of the 3 regions?

This is why we need regional legislative caps which fell through the wayside in 2019.

Not just in 2019. Adam and I tried to cap regional legislatures in 2015 at the convention and again I tried to push that direction in 2017. Not sure how this would impact strategic registration though.

IIRC the caps were based off a percentage population and the idea (at least Adam’s version) was that super big and super small regions get punished with smaller legislators.
