I made it back to Tulsa early.  There's a little uncertainty in the weather in Oklahoma City the next couple of days, so I decided to play it safe and come on back home.  I will postpone my recruiter interview for a couple weeks.

Is this idea that any old soul in Heaven is 'in charge of' helping run the place an Evangelical thing? I mean, I know about patron saints, obviously, but that doesn't seem to be the sort of function that Bushie is anticipating for himself.

I really have no idea how it's going to play out.  The Bible withholds yya lot of information on what heaven will be like.  That's by design so as to make it even more enjoyable than what it will be.  I suppose it is an evangelical thing, maybe just a Baptist thing.  It is something I've heard my entire life at church.  I, along with every believer, can dream all we want to about heaven and are encouraged to do so, but we just absolutely won't know for sure until we get there.  There are no words in our vocabulary to describe how awesome it's going to be.  Anything we say here on earth is just speculation, wishful-thinking, and dreaming.  All I know is it will be so much better than anything we can dream up.

That's good news. At 300 pounds you will be there before all of us. Enjoy!!

Update on Allison:  We are back to being good friends.  She was in Tulsa yesterday for a doctor's appointment and she called and asked if she could stop by for a few minutes.  I was happy to have her over.  We visited about several things for about 30 minutes including a non-profit business that she is trying to start up and obtain a 501 (3) (c) status on it.  She wants me to hop on board with her handling the social media platform as kind of a second job from my regular job.  It is a side business for her and she is keeping her job at the university because of the health insurance.  She doesn't have the luxury of Indian Health Care.  I need more information on the business before I go into it with her, such as what it does, but it is a nice gesture at the very least.

So she wants to start her own version of On.Co. and wants suckers to invest.  Brilliant way of getting back at Our Dear Friend for being a dick and dumping her twice.

In other news, I think I found someone who is more energetic about Christmas than I am.  The City of Tulsa.  We are still 10 months from Christmas 2015, but the City is already planning the 2015 Christmas Parade going so far as to setting a date - December 12.  I'm early, but I'm still at least 3-4 months from starting Christmas, but these guys take the cake...

I guess the fact it's 200,000 times bigger of a project, including public safety, public health, etc... issues, they usually start the day after the last one ends.
