We've been through the voluntary time off story arc.

Don't you agree, though, that it is better to start a major project at 0800 on Monday as opposed to 1600 on Friday?  To me, it provides a much smoother approach then having just getting a groove going and then having to take the next 63 hours off until Monday begins and potentially having to relearn the project.

There is Always something to do.  It's a bad omen.

Patrick is one of the few people who can truly lecture Bushie on this one. He's overcome overwhelming odds to be where he is today.

When was the last time you had steamed or grilled veggies not bathed in butter?  Or grilled fish.

Guys, there is no reason to worry.  I have nothing to be worried about.  My boss would not give me false expectations.  If he says there is nothing to worry about, then there is nothing to worry about.  Period.

You have absolutely no faith that I can ever do anything good, do you?

No. You've given me no reason to think otherwise.

breaking news: 1/2 of an inch of snow is possible in okc.

Now we can RIP job : (

I've actually gotten better driving in the snow since I spent two winters ago in Utah.  A half inch that will be gone by Monday is nothing.  That said, since I do have to drive 32 miles to work one way, my dad has asked me to spot nearby hotels for the heavier snow conditions as we get deeper into Winter.  Even though I'm better at driving, it would make no sense to drive 32 miles on icy roads.  My nerves would be shot and my parents' nerves would be shot...
How did this gem sneak by without any replies?

Lol

BREAKING NEWS: Bushie is officially taking another day off from work.

He will be visiting his Indian doctor according to my sources (aka the facialbooks).

I'm glad he didn't lose his place in Tulsa.......time to pack the car.

Either Bushie is lying about what his doctors said, or Oklahoma/the IHS has really crappy doctors.

The former.  More like lying by omission, but yeah, lying.

I made it to work on this Friday.  I'm ready to close out Week 2.  I still only have a small headache.  It's nothing like the behemoth I had the past two mornings.  I haven't seen my boss, yet this morning, but I will thank him for letting me take off to get over this headache.  That's the least I can do.  Well, that and do my work as I know how and focus from 0800 to 1700 today.  Tonight is the last family dinner until Thanksgiving Day.  The third and final set of company leaves tomorrow morning.

So you move in with Grandma back to Tulsa on Saturday?

So, Mr. Boss Man was just fine with the two days off of work due to headaches?  I find that hard to believe.

Bushie Works  at a body shop if you can breathe you can work. No skill required to show up and work.

Well, the corn and green beans were good. Corn is a grain and a veggie. Whole corn is quite good for you. The ice cream canceled it, though, probably. Hopefully only one piece of pumpkin pie was consumed.

Dude the veggies were swimming in butter and salt.  No applause necessary.

Good Saturday Morning!  I slept for almost 10 hours and slept very well.  Breakfast is over and now I am watching College Game Day on ESPN.  I will watch the first half of the Clemson vs. Georgia Tech game and then start moving over to Grandma's sometime this afternoon.  I will come back to my parents' for supper and then will go to a birthday party for a handsome 13-year-old.  It will be one of the last times I get to see him as he and his family are about to spend two years in Cameroon, Africa on a .  They leave December 26 which is now less than 6 weeks away.  I am excited for them.

.....WHAT....

Troubling to say the least. Ick.

BushOK, if your Medigan family member ever challenges me on pizza/Italian food again, we are going to have a problem.

Classic exchange.  Fritos. Haha.

Hi, guys, it was a fun birthday party and I know he had fun.  The kids largely played together and the adults supervised and talked amongst themselves.  I was able to see my first ex-fiancée.  We've been split up since 2007, but we've always been really good friends since we met in the fifth grade - 21 years ago.  I probably have the best friendship with her out of all my ex girlfriends/fiancée's.  There is no chance of us getting back together, but we will always remain good friends.  Our friendship has stood the test of time.  I am back at Grandma's for the night.  I will likely work on my AutoCAD some while I have some football on in the background.

Gross.
