A forum treasure should be allowed one night on a drunken rampage.  The finest of FFs.

My mod colleagues are a trio of insufferable old farts, aren't they?

It would appear so, yes.

Back in the day, though-

I'm not counting Dave Leip.  He used to be the only moderator when I first started posting here.  There were no "infraction points" or anything like that back then.  I'd just get an email message once in a while that said something like, "Please avoid drunken, emotional diatribes.  Thank you, Dave Leip" or "Please refrain from linking to pornographic websites.  Thank you, Dave Leip."

Sadly, I missed his spree Sad

A legend like him should be allowed to enjoy a drunken keyboard falling from time to time. His rampage was certainly more funny and contribute that tons of "serious" posts by lesser users.

Leaving aside the question of whether we should encourage drunkenness by celebrating the follies of the drunk, there is the problem is how do we decide who has "earned" a drunken posting spree?

Just a question......Do you assign points to every post you delete?  I'm not talking about the over-editing, I mean just posts you delete.
