American is too conservative for it to be popular outside of the far east and far left coasts.

I'm guessing you are just making an assumption here and have no facts to back this up?

Dude, red state (media red not Atlas red) America is the land between the coasties and is conservative.......but of course, I don't have their arbitron rating stats.....I'm way too lazy to look it up.
