How random.  Assuming the request for an apology was some sort of stunt, what did she hope to accomplish?

Thomas has shown in his writings that he's still very upset about this and hasn't gotten over it. My take on this was that it didn't originate with Ginny but that after 19 years she's desperate for anything that might make her husband get over it and stop being so miserable and angry, so she lost her judgment and tried this.

Does it lead you to believe that the allegations weren't true or there could have been a legitimate misunderstanding between Thomas and Hill..........?

I'm sure there's a grain of truth to Hill's story and Thomas' version.  Do you think if Thomas were white they might have rejected him or did being black make it worse?
