No date certain given for the transition to electric only but this is a huge development. It will give US automakers more incentive to invest and start earlier mass production of electric vehicles due to the immense Chinese population and demand. The key here will be infrastructure, i.e., charging stations instead of gas stations, better roads but they are already ahead of the US there as well
