He already won the seat? Great! We don't need to waste the money on the election then.

We really don't. Steele will get money and man power (and he deserves it) but we have to focus on other races now. This one is almost totally out of our reach.

Phil is right.  Sanity prevailed in Maryland.  Democrats there rejected a crazy fringe candidate that only would have hurt their chances of keeping the Senate seat.  With Cardin as the official nominee, that seat is pretty much as good as his.  No matter how well Steele does in more conservative areas like western Maryland, St. Mary's County, and the Eastern Shore, he will not be able to overcome Cardin's huge support in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas.  And don't believe blacks will be voting in huge numbers for Steele.  I think Prince George's County will also go strongly for Cardin. 

Of course I wouldn't mind seeing the RSCC pouring money into this race, but for the sake of the Republican Party I should think this would just be a waste of your time.
