Still a classic:

The "it's her turn" wasn't just a slogan but dogma. She truly thought she shouldn't have just been President, but that she was OWED the Presidency.

Trump was frustratingly frugal and shot himself in the foot a million times, but he campaigned like hell to win. 5 states in a day for days on end. Clinton just expected the win - because it was her turn and she deserved it!

I am so glad Clinton was denied the title of the "first female President."

To be fair, a staffer wrote that tweet, but even so, the sheer arrogance of it sums up how she lost to Trump.

Lol to be honest I not only think Hillary approved of that but probably STILL thinks it and dreams it.

This thread is a disaster. Hillary is traveling the world being treated like an A-list celebrity while Trump is miserable and unpopular. Its really not a bad outcome.

If anything she should be shunned by Democrats.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpzeQ1Z3Ut0 (warning: super cringeworthy Clinton "thank you note" segment on Jimmy Fallon)

This is North Korean levels of worship. And people call Trump authoritarian? Clinton has literally no power now and she's still forcing those around her to bow down.

Yes, the cult around Trump is unbelievable.

Nothing compared to the cult around Hillary.

That Jimmy Fallon segment was sooo cringeworthy and embarrassing. So awkward too - they weren't even writing anything down.

And one of them said "thanks for running for President as a woman even though people said a woman couldn't run because she'd be too emotional, impulsive, and unpredictable" LOL who ever said that? Do these people actually believe the crap they spew?

I am so glad that Hillary will not go down as the first woman President.

And yet if Trump tweeted something like that, his supporters would eat it up.

Fortunately, Hillary is the first woman to win a competitive primary, the first major party female nominee, and first woman to win the popular vote. She will always be the most politically successful woman from the '60s generation ever. She already has her place in history. She also successfully exposed the depths of Middle America's misogyny. She. Is. Amazing.

Trump would have never Tweeted something so egotistical.

And despite all that no one considers a feminist icon. She definitely is not one. I don't like Obama (due to his policies and attitude) but I can 100% see why so many people like him, and I was proud of the 2008 result. With Clinton it's the opposite. She so desperately wants to be a major feminist icon but she's the opposite of one.

Again, the Democratic hubris of "oh, the city will carry the state for me, np." Past does not necessarily make precedent, esp. in populist cycles and refreshed demos. Mook should have been fired the moment he suggested a liberalism only, urban only campaign like that.

I don't think it's Mook's fault because Clinton wanted that strategy. It's how she thought Obama won. The difference is Obama actually got a lot of rural whites as well (won Iowa by what, 6 in 2012?).

But nothing is every Hillary's fault. She is infallible. God Save the Queen!
