The specific promoted tweet says "I'm fighting for good-paying jobs. Having grown up in a blue-collar family, I know the economic struggles families face. Join me."
Seems like he's going for the economic angle?

Disagree with the idea that McAuliffe is a bad candidate. That last time he was unpopular in Virginia the beginning of his term, and he's been broadly popular for nearly his entire term. He also has a long record of accomplishments as governor that would give him credibility to run for President. Not to mention all the connections he's gathered over his long political career. I think Kander is doing his best to make himself and Let America Vote indispensable assets for anyone who wants to win the Iowa caucuses in 2020. Whoever gets his nomination will have all the organization of the activists, plus the knowledge of that DMR reporter. Or Jason could just run (and win) himself. Who knows.
