You know, I dont even care about guns as an issue....I really dont. It doesnt affect how I vote nor do I follow its legislative developments. With that being said... the gun culture in this country is a form of mental illness. Its one of these issues where the proponents are so demented and extremist that you dont even want to bother debating them because you know its a waste of time and the issue is purely symbolic for them anyways. Sadly, we all basically have to put up with random mass shootings on an almost regular basis at this point because nobody wants to deal with these nuts.
