They always seem to say "Luv u !" to their kids.

About a 1000 times a day.

Or is this only among younger US parents ? Did previous generations of parents also use it on a daily basis ? What are your experiences with this ?

I have never heard a European parent say to their kid: "I love you." or "Luv u." (every child here knows that their parents love them, no need to tell them 5.000 times a day ...)

No wonder Europe has had 2 world wars
