Second US Republic

Unlikely, but if it was to happen it would probably happen in the context of a full scale but short civil war that the left wins, probably because trump seized power illegally in the lame duck period and the military sides with the democrats as a result, demanding a reorganization of the political system to block the republicans from power. A sprawling guerrilla war would continue in rural areas throughout the country. Although the military would demand the inclusion of conservative forces in politics, in all likelihood their role would be severely diminished as the left dominates legitimate forms of political discourse and power. Socialists, greens, and progressives would form a left wing bloc, while mormon interests, christian democrats, and social liberals would form a centrist bloc. Some minority interest parties might include the aforementioned BLM party, which would presumably be a catch-all of left-leaning black people, latino socialists, and a minority conservative party. The "true right" of this period would presumably be a mixture of republican front parties and hotep types, having 2-5% of the parliament but nonetheless trying to muck things up as much as possible. This republic would be vulnerable to a military coup itself, and socialist forces would be surging in strength too. It isn't likely that this republic lasts very long, and a second, much more divisive civil war is likely. The left would be likely to win that struggle though, just because of the time bought during this second republic.
