First they run Campbell because they’re worried Cramer might blow the Senate race, then their own insiders dump oppo research on Campbell and encourage Cramer to run against him because Campbell was obviously a heavy underdog against Heitkamp, and now their own party chairman resigned in order to run against Campbell in the House race.
Does a party operative
really have a chance to derail Campbell in this primary? It seems like a doomed to fail operation to me.
