I'm darkskinned and tall but I keep ending up just in the friend zone..

Believe me, it doesn't matter in highschool.  If you can find a really close female friend (like Fezzy and my relationship) you will always have a date to all the dances, someone to hang out with, and someone to dream up a future with.

It's worth so much more than all of that boyfriend-girlfriend stuff.  I've been there, done that, and it hurts like crap and it's stressful and irritating.  If you can find someone you really like, and they like you, make sure you're friends first.

However, my advice about just having a really close friend of the opposite gender is the way to go.  You could love them to death and still go over to their house, play video games, do stupid stuff, and not have to worry about that guy they were talking to or what so-and-so said about the two of you.  You are just kids.

That reminds me of this creepy little kids' show called "Pat the Bunny".  These lipsyncing kids prance around singing irritating, get-stuck-in-your-head-for-months, crappy songs.  Stay away from it...  IT CONTROLS YOUR MIND!

^^^^Here's a picture my friend took of Fezzy and I this past Halloween (or the school day before it).  I'm wearing the wig, dressed as a weird hooker, and Fezzy isn't wearing a costume cuz he's an oddling.  He's also avoiding the picture.  I don't really remember what I was doing to him, but right now, I can interpret the action as trying to force Fezzy to look at the camera.
