So Con + DUP coalition is the forgone conclusion here or can something else still happen?

More like an informal support pact rather than coalition.

Right - not going to have any DUP ministers.

Is Richmond Park a strong Lib Dem area?

Could be. Definitely a seat where they have a good shot, anyway.

It was a solid LD seat until 2010, when the Tories ran Zac Goldsmith, then most known for his environmental activism, who unseated the LD incumbent. Goldsmith got a huge majority in 2015 as the LD vote collapsed without an incumbent (and generally across the country). But Goldsmith was also very pro-Brexit in a seat that is one of strongest Remain constituencies in all of Britain. In 2016, he stood down and ran for re-election in a by-election for stupid reasons (to protest the government's support for a new runway at Heathrow), and the LDs were able to make the by-election about Brexit instead, and they humiliated Goldsmith and won the seat back on an enormous swing. The new LD incumbent, Sarah Olney, has proven quite popular and effective, but Goldsmith is running again, and it's less than clear that the circumstances that carried Olney to victory in the by-election (such as tactical squeezing of Labour) will hold again.

Should have results soon.

NE FIFE - LIB gain from SNP, MAJORITY OF 1 VOTE

To go to a recount, surely? Or is this post-recount?

This is CNNs breakdown (I don't know if everybody would agree with how they broke down England into regions)

Looks like they used the formal Regions of England.

One thing that hardly anyone has noticed or noted anywhere but which I saw happening in my very own constituency* is that Labour has suddenly reclaimed all of those rural working class voters it had been shedding at a deeply alarming rate (and in all directions) these past fifteen years. Because of the electoral system it barely matters in practical terms (though has added a further boost to Labour's national PV total, do note) but it is an interesting development.

*Observed far more Labour posters than ones for other parties in the grimmer section of the market towns throughout the campaign. Which always used to be the case but had not been so for quite a while...

Does the UK have the equivalent of US voting precincts where these numbers can be broken down into a further level of detail, beyond just constituencies top level results?

No. The UK does not report any results whatsoever at a more granular level than constituencies.

There were Lib Dem MPs in Berwick and Redcar, and I beloved they controlled Newcastle Council during the Blair year.

The Lib Dems also had a significant presence in Durham. All of those have since evaporated.
