NBC: Hate crimes spike following the Election

I do not know about crimes, but multiple US-based acquaintances of mine have experienced being told  "go back to Mexico" or something of the sort in the last few days. In at least one case, when a (half-Venezuelan) girl came back from school and reported that a classmate told her "we will now deport you", her own (anglo) father responded "but you are not dark-skinned!".
