Jersey, actually, is among the states I am more sanguine about. The realignment is going to happen on the nativism/diversity axis, and Jersey is reasonably diverse, so that, unless Dems are caught napping, they should get a good turnout in the minority/immigrant/urban parts of the state, and that should be enough to hold it. But, yeah, there will be very ugly parts of the state, and it cannot be taken for granted.
