This makes all the discussion of whether the 2nd debate might be canceled sort of moot

Doesn't it

I mean realistically Biden and Trump were at podiums which looked well in excess of six feet apart, and never were in each other's faces.

The odds that Biden is actually at risk is extremely low. Get tested, still. But lets not unnecessarily freak out.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Hicks with Trump on AF1 after the debate? So Biden really has nothing to worry about.

Right, and then it's a guessing game of when Trump got it, and even then when he might have been able to spread it.

Assuming Biden even was at risk by being near Trump, you're talking particles having flown in excess of 6 feet in a very open space.

The question of how this affects the race really depends on just how badly Trump has got it.

And we have no idea, and won't have any idea possibly for a while, this can be very hit-or-miss.

He's in an at-risk age group and has a host of comorbidities.

But the likes of Silvio Berlusconi got it and survived fine.

And Trump will have the best medical monitoring and access to care of anyone in the world.

We can't even be sure that Hope Hicks is the origin point here.

It could just as easily be someone else they've all been in contact with.

The Washington Post is now reporting that Barrett in fact already had Coronavirus.

Not sure about immunity because that's confusing, but even if she were exposed, she might be fine regardless.

Interesting that they are already giving him experimental treatments if all he has is a cold and low grade fever. Perhaps it's precautionary.
Well, he is the President, so precautionary seems... good?

I'm sort of comfortable reading too much into every tweet trying to read between the lines of a mild, lowgrade, or "high" fever. All we really have to do is just wait to see how his condition develops.

Did you mean uncomfortable?
Right, yes. Uncomfortable.
