If those Registration Numbers that are being reported are correct and Republicans have indeed overtaken Democrats in Florida that makes unseating DeSantis pretty much hopeless.

Letting him run unopposed or cakewalk depresses the party. If your candidate wins or loses, voting is sticky. It has been demonstrated that people who vote in consecutives elections have a higher propensity to be lifelong and reliable voters.
