Nope (Disloyal, stupid scum).

Trump is worse than him, for sure. So was Bush II. But Obama was much better, Clinton was far better, Bush I was superior, Ford was better, Nixon was much better, LBJ and JFK were both far superior. I'm not sure about Carter- I guess Reagan did more damage, so I'd put him first. His domestic policy bad, ushering in an era of extreme inequality and the notion that if only we cut taxes for the rich unicorns will start flying, and of course, ignoring the AIDs epidemic and allying with the Christian Right. But it's not just that- his foreign policy was actually bad, too. He came in fancying himself as some sort of a Hollywoodian sheriff ready to kick out the baddies, used some amazingly dangerous rhetoric and brought the American cynical support for murderous regimes and terrorists to new heights. He also had some crazy notions- the Star Wars plan was as ridiculous as it gets and shockingly fiscally irresponsible. Sure, it forced the Soviets to spend money and accelerated their collapse, but it's not smart, it's just throwing money and accumulating debt. It's like saying that Stalin throwing men at the Nazis is smart military strategy or Mao throwing men at McArthur in Korea was a military genius. In the end, the Soviets were economically collapsing anyway because their system was just this terrible and unfit for a large country, and Reagan, at best, accelerated it.

My Ranking of Presidents since WW2

1-3. Truman/IKE/Reagan (Pretty close to Tied)
4.  HW Bush
5. Clinton
6. JFK
7. Nixon
8. Ford
9. Obama
10. LBJ
11. W Bush
12. Carter

Not Ranking Trump yet

Mine is:

1. Ike
2. Truman (very close to tied for 1st; both fantastic Presidents with some flaws)

3. Obama
4. LBJ
5. Clinton (three great Presidents with major flaws)

6. Nixon
7. Ford
8. JFK (two fairly capable and competent Republicans who managed to get a lot of good things done but do have major flaws, and a man who just didn't have much time to prove himself but is decidedly overrated)

9. HW Bush
10. Carter
11. Reagan (not really good to pretty bad- the first advanced mostly policies I oppose, the second was just a failure on many issues, about the third I already said my opinion in a previous post in this thread)

12. W Bush (a total failure- but Trump is looking like he's going to be even worse)

I mean, I think Reagan was a better President than these people, but the FACT that you used the word "fact" and the FACT that you're the OP on this pointless topic made me vote no.

Though, looking at the discussion this generated, it would appear that pointless threads sometimes create good points (not from the OP, obviously) Tongue
