In my mind, voting for a pro-choice candidate when there is a pro-life candidate in the race, makes you an accomplice to murder.  That could never be prosecuted, but that's how I feel.

We should create two new island countries- one would be "Liberaliland" for all the authoritarian liberals who want to make anything they don't like illegal (the meat industry, circumcision, Kosher slaughter, cigarettes, pesticides, surrogacy etc), and the other would be Libertariland where anarchy would reign and the free marker would control everything.
(Mostly joking. But really, had an argument with some friends today and realized that if the world turns to this extreme authoritarian leftism in the next decades I might very well be a conservative eventually.)

Societal acceptance of any sex outside in a long-term relationship that is clearly headed for marriage makes rape and sexual assault inevitable and impossible to prevent.  If any of the MeToo people really cared about stopping sexual assault, they would work to end acceptance of all sex that would have been unacceptable to society before the sexual revolution.

Question- does that mean you now support gay marriage? After all, how else will they have sex in that new sexual assault-free utopia? Or do you just oppose homosexuality being accepted by society at all?

I think if your ideology literally requires killing people for it to be implement, it kind of makes sense to give it at least some of the blame.

Yeah, and when an ideology requires someone to take away people's basic human rights, you can very well see it as illegitimate. Also, it just so happens that all fascist and communist countries were iron-handed dictatorships, so yeah, I believe the ideology can definitely be blamed along with the actual humans who practice it.

Alcohol should be illegal, but it's too ingrained in society to actually execute the ban without mass protests.  Same thing with tobacco.  And that's my biggest reason for not wanting to legalize marijuana- that we cannot create a third great American drug that becomes readily available and socially acceptable.  I don't think pot is that much worse than alcohol or tobacco (from what I've read- I have never had and will never have any of the three), but they should all be illegal- but it's the only one of the three that isn't so deeply entrenched that it's almost impossible to ban.

I love weather in the 90-100+ range, including running in those temperatures.

I wouldn't go so far (35+ is way too much and could actually be dangerous), but yeah, kinda same- I love summer. I think I live in a good place for my climate preferences
