Trump slightly (with expectation weighted)

Hillary was better on points and knowing the answers to questions. She was the more civil and mature one.

Trump was rude and interrupting as usual and doesn't know anything in terms of policies. But he went more on attack tonight and produced more audience reactions.

Scientific polls will probably show something like 55% Trump and 35% Hillary 10% Tie.
But to be fair, he did better than I thought tonight.

If I had to say the splits on these debates:

First debate: 90% Clinton/10% Trump

Second debate: 60% Trump/40% Clinton

I agree but only if you weigh them with expectations.

Are there any Johnson voters or undecided-leaners here?

Who did you think won tonight? I would appreciate your input.

I think many people overestimated the expectations game. As most of Atlas and the pundits said, the poll does confirm people think Trump vastly outperformed expectations. But they still give Hillary a crushing win regardless.

I am a bit surprised (pleasantly) that the average American was able to acknowledge that someone can outperform expectations but still lose decisively.

Agreed, I'm shocked. Trump does better with audience that prefers demagogues and WWE style debate. Only intelligent and knowledgeable audience would think Hillary won.
