F. Unduly restricts the free expression of fans attending races by prohibiting constitutionally-protected clothing, decals, signs, flags, and other apparel unrelated to the physical safety of others.

Why on earth was this included in a bill relating to motor vehicle repair and location data tracking?

It is within NASCAR's rights to ban confederate flags and decals at their events and racetracks.

And it is within an individual rights to express themselves the way they want.

So if NASCAR tomorrow bans rainbow flags, you would be okay with that.

This is not a complicated issue. It is authoritarian to force private entities to permit depictions of hate or bigotry. Just as the constitutional right to free expression prohibits the federal government from outright banning public display of racist symbols or flags, privately-owned facilities maintain the same right to disallow, or allow, such symbols. If someone were to come into my place of work wearing a swastika armband, it is the protected right of my boss to kick them the hell out.

I don't get what you mean but the act clearly states

Unless you think your swastika armband is constitutionally protected, you're wrong on this.

It's similar to someone refusing services to an LGBTQ married couple (if you consider that someone a private entity, like a church for example). I personally don't believe that church would have the right to reject services (esp. if LGBTQ marriages are constitutionally protected).

What is considered hate or bigotry at the end of the day are subjectives. There will always be people who think rainbow flags are a symbol of hate and bigotry as well.

I in particular remember how in Belgium (and some other western european nations) the football players in Qatar weren't able to wear their OneLove armbands

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/nov/28/onelove-armband-sends-very-divisive-message-says-qatar-official

They literally saw it as a symbol of hate and division (to Islamic values).

I'm not going give these people (FIFA, Qatar, homophobes) etc. a victory by agreeing with you. Neither will i give the Vatican a victory that way.

Your definition of authoritarian is also flawed. You can never be 100% libertarian on issues, because I do not have the freedom to kill someone else, and that's a good thing. One should not have that right, even if it is authoritarian to not allow someone else to kill another.

This is just conditioning federal money for NASCAR on adopting pro-freedom protections. They dont have to abide, they just dont get federal funds if they refuse to protect freedom of expression. This even protects your right to dress up like a furry and wave a hammer and sickle flag at a race, which a lot of us find more offensive than a Hank Williams, Jr. Flag. Do you even watch NASCAR? Seems weird to get bent out of shape over a content neutral free expression rule that protects lawful speech like rainbow flags and furry costumes. I guess we can thank labor for ceding the issue of freedom of expression to the other parties just like theyve ceded being anti bank to the other parties as well.

Withholding federal funds to private companies because they chose to disallow public display of hate symbols is absurd and unjust. It is ridiculous to penalize an event or venue for setting their own code of conduct for guests. Mandating that facilities forcibly accept signs and flags considered disgraceful and blatantly racist is reprehensible. It's wrong, and you know it. The precedent set by this standard means that all business or public venues could someday be subjected to the same fate.

This feels so wrong, you need to add disallow constitutionally protected display of hate symbols. It protects all kind of symbols, and to be honest: what is considered a symbol of hate widely differs in each part of the region, it's less controversial to hang around in Moscow with a hammer and sickle flag than in Kyiv (where you would probably be shot). The constitutionally protected symbols is essential here.

So, according to you, a hypothetical Aztec cultist organisation would be allowed to sacrifice guests for blood to gain favour with the Sun god.

The example might be a bit strange, but you would be the kind of person that would protect organisations like Scientology. You are the one that chooses to protect a private business / entity over that of the individual or the government/society. That's almost the opposite of being left wing.
