Why is this an act and not a resolution?
I think we can modify that if people agree with.
I've seen that Scotland has done the same thing recently, and I think "the witch hunts" in the 16th century or around (and in Europe also before) were a disgusting act of evil done by authorities at the time, which were done because they wanted to eliminate/purge opponents of regime, and wanted to purge people who thought otherwise and were not based on science
I also think this is essential to highlight the tolerance for other religions as well outside of the majority religion, but even if you disagree with that, people sometimes didn't claim to be a witch, they were just branded to be a witch and it wasn't based on this science, and I believe this is why this is necessary.
But yes it should be a resolution.
