To be honest, Radinovich and Metsa probably wanted Phifer to run, to split the environmentalist vote. Now Michelle Lee has all that space to herself, in a highly contentious and visible issue, while Metsa, Radinovich, and Kennedy split the pro-mining/labour vote.
