Honestly, no matter how anyone sees abortion, I think this is probably a necessary bill. Fetal remains are definitely different than the average medical waste and should be disposed of properly.

I want to say I'm surprised by the vote, but I'm really not. All this was doing in my view is ensuring responsibility when it comes to the disposal of human waste. It doesn't determine anything on the issue of abortion but it looks like my colleagues are taking it that way. Fair enough.
