Why the hell are we accusing the director of the FBI of being in Russia's pocket? Do you folks understand what that sort of accusation implies? This is McArthyism pure and simple.

Harry Reid is accusing FBI of not releasing similar information on the probe of ties between Manafort and Pro russian ukrainian factions.

He isn't accusing FBI of being in Russia's pocket

The double standard here is incredible. Harry Ried is doing two things democrats have been denouncing repeatedly, 1. Making accusations that are completely baseless for political gain, and 2. Saying an agency if the government is attempting to rig the election!

That's quite a stretch.

1) There's an actual probe by the FBI into Manafort's Russia ties. It involves another Trump campaign member too.

2) Reid mentioned that Comey bringing this letter out 11 days is a partisan move, since making information public violates DOJ guidelines. He did not say the election was rigged - there's a huge difference.

What the  is going on? I thought that Anthony Weiner had something to do with Clinton's emails, but now Reid is making baseless accusations against Comey? I really don't care about this Russia stuff either, unless Trump has ties to Putin himself.

Manafort and a few of his aides are being investigated over their ties to Russia after some names turned up in a ledger of the Pro Russian previous government in Ukraine. That's the reason Manafort resigned from the Trump campaign.

Reid is asking Comey to make a public announcement regarding that probe as well
