Why is everyone crapping all over Santander? I don't like him any more than the next guy, but at least I can respect him somewhat. Jeez

Seeing as Santander hasn't taken up the challenge, we must conclude that he's a coward and a poltroon.
He's keeping himself out of the fray. Perhaps if I'd known him for longer I would have less respect for him, but this really seems uncalled for

OK, but even in that case, do we really need a witch hunt? It's not as if he's going to see this and think, "Oh my, my conservative viewpoints have been a lie this whole time! I must repent!" If anything, it'll only either convince him further that Atlas is stacked against him and his fellow conservatives, or it will scare him off and lend more credence to other conservative members feeling the same way. Remember, conservative members, no matter how we feel about their politics, are members too, and we should respect them the same way that we want to be respected. If they are obviously trolling/oblivious (StatesPoll, anyone?), then it is another matter, but this does not represent the majority of the conservative posters here.

The problem with Santander isn't that he's conservative. You shouldn't be making assumptions about people's motivations when you (by your own admission) have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm not saying that you're doing this because he's conservative, I'm saying that this kind of behavior is unnecessary regardless of the circumstances. If you want a way to make a poster, or a group of posters, feel like they're being persecuted- this is it.

Why are people taking this seriously?
Good question...
