OF COURSE the Trump campaign is going to try to spin the birthed issue... but they end up with an outright lie: http://www.factcheck.org/2015/07/was-hillary-clinton-the-original-birther/

Long story short, Clinton and her campaign never took it seriously; it was the actions of her desperate supporters.
