I remember Democrats who cheered him on, thinking he would doom the Republicans' chances in 2016. I remember Republicans who said he disgusted them and that he would never represent the Republican Party or conservatism... and then unabashedly threw their full support behind him less than a year later. What a sad spectacle this has been.

I was adamantly opposed to Trump during the GOP primary, but once he won the nomination fair and square, I knew who I was voting for. As much as I dislike Trump's behavior and lack of an ideological devotion to conservatism and strong policy knowledge, there was no way I was voting for the ultra-liberal agenda of Hillary.

Anyone remember when there was a conspiracy theory that Trump was sent by Clinton to win the primaries and make her president?

I never thought Trump could win, and this theory was always sitting in the back of my head...

I woke up on election day and nearly vomited, thinking about the Hillary presidency and the Democratic Senate. I showed up to the Trump election night party in NYC, depressed, and the mood was like that of a funeral. Oh how things changed rapidly in just a few hours. It was the night that we saved America from Obama's 3rd term, European style socialism, open borders, radical Islam, liberal Supreme Court, high taxes and regulations.
