Now that I see all this....I may have designed a state for nothing, LOL.  But anyways, if we're still playing here....

State Name: Atlantic Republic
Regions: Southern New York (Hudson Valley, NYC, Long Island, portion of Southern Tier (Broome, Chemung, Delaware, Steuben, and Tioga counties), Eastern Pennsylvania (everything east of Fulton county, not including Potter, Clinton, and Centre counties), New Jersey

Capital: Harrisburg, PA
Population: 25.4 million
Registered voters: 15.2 million
Major cities: New York (8.6 million), Philadelphia (1.6 million), Hempstead (0.8 million), Newark (0.3 million), Jersey City (0.3 million), Paterson (0.2 million)

Regional Demographics (by party):

  Southern New York: D 33.1, R 19.1, I 16.6
  Eastern Pennsylvania: D 33.4, R 40.3, I 12.0
  New Jersey: D 47.0, R 36.8, I 15.1

More to come, including economic data....I hope.  Smiley
