Thank you Mr. Chairman.

Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for taking the time to listen to me today. Despite low publicity for it, the midwest faces an important election in the coming weeks, one that will greatly affect not only my fine region, but this entire country.

I would like to start by addressing a common complaint from my opponent. Hugh has claimed that I am an inactive senator. I have, however actively participated in the shaping of the debate for every bill to hit the floor. While my opponent pushed this accusation early in the campaign, he has lead an extremely inactive campaign for this seat, finally breaking his silence today iwth a speech in Omaha. I too am guilty of this crime, but I need not lecture you on the proof that is in my senate record.

The upcoming senate, it seems will be more divided than ever. As the PLP continues to rise, its causes will be at great risk in this divided senate. While its true that I do not, technically, share a party registration with the PLP, no one can say that I do not share your priniciples closer than my opponent, and possibly closer than any other non-PLP member in Atlasia. I have fought, by word, by vote, and by proposal, for the beliefs of this party since I was appointed, and with your help, I will continue to do so for a full term. We can revolutionize Atlasian economics and foreign diplomacy, guide Atlasian social issues, and bolster support for our president to be, Senator Sensei!

And so I ask the PLP to endorse me for the Midwest senate seat. But dont do it for me, do it for the PLP, for the Midwest, for Atlasia! We will lead this senate and we will lead this country when February has come and gone, my friends!

I thank this party for saying that Al, Lewis, and myself don't work as cabinet member. Al is doing something called a foreign policy review, Lewis is running something called an election, and I'm involved in something called a trial.

People also fail to understand that updating the wiki is a collective responsibility of the community. Members should keep their personal pages and their political party pages up to date.

Just to let you know Hashemite this is not a view of the whole party, only certain members.  I myself feel that you have done a great job, as have Al and Lewis.
As a soon be member of this party, I agree. First of all, I think youre over reacting a little even if it was a party platform. That, however, has little to do with it, as it is a super-minority plank, so please dont mud sling.

My words have been corrupted and perverted. I have nothing to say.
Welcome to the politics right now in Atlasia. It simply seems to be the way that they want to do things right now on that side. You cant fight back. We have our people, and they will respect a clean fight and campaign, so brush them all off.
