Ridge wouldnt have had enough power to give PA to Engler even though he was relatively popular at the time. It would have been a happy ending for Gore supporters everywhere.

Gore/Lieberman: 52%

Engler/Ridge: 47%

Nader/LaDuke(?): 1%
