*LiberalPA walks slowly up to the podium, stays silent for a moment, then begins his speech*

Thank you everyone for showing up today. The left needs to send someone to the senate from D2 later this month. This is a top priority of mine. But this can't be any person. It has to be someone everyone can trust to make the best decisions all the time, and show the good side of liberalism that i have been talking about. So......

I am dropping out of the race and supporting Al. It is clear that at the moment I am too controversial of a candidate. It is also clear that the people want Al, and I can see why.

I would like to again thank both Max Power and Emsworth, the backbone of my campaign, along with Mr. Lt. Governor Provincial Rights, Akno21, Governor Cheesewhiz, and Everett. If i missed anyone sorry, but thank you for your contributions. I would also like to thank Ebowed for......hhhmmm....uuhh... nevermind, i can't think of anything. Tongue

So in conclusion, I am supporting Al now that I am out of the race, and when the left needs new blood and a great candidate, I'll be waiting here. Smiley
*LiberalPA gives his supporters a thumbs up, but can't seem to smile as he slowly walks off stage*

You're dropping out just because Al entered the race?
i want to unify the left vote.

Ran a good race LiberalPA, you would have made a damn good Senator too.  It would have been an honor to work alongside you in Nyman.
whos to say you wont get that chance eventually? Wink

This is very disappointing news. I am very disappointed. Al is a moderate hack, we need someone like LiberalPA as a voice in the Senate.
dont worry, this isnt my last race. i just ran into some bumps with KPhil that gave me too many bad marks to win this one. I will be back, and thats a promise.

Okay, but if you are quitting because of your opponent, don't say your campaign has backbone.
it has become more apparant over the last few weeks that for whatever reason you dont like me, but i would appreciate it if we could try and get along. and im not quitting because of my opponent. So please, can you watch the comments? i have nothing against you.

Well, sorry to see you not run, Liberal PA.  We always need more complex races as far as I'm concerned.  Smiley
i agree. but my dropout does make the job a little harder for pollsters Smiley
