2020 Protests megathread

[No War, but the War on Christmas]

There are riots again, tonight... in so many major cities.  Where is our Fearless Leader?  Where is our national response from our president, who should be addressing the nation, pleading for peace, uniting all the hurt and broken factions of this burning country? Seriously, where the hell is he? As far as I’m concerned, Joe Biden is already my President.

Well I just got back from a small protest in Allen, TX a small heavily Republican suburb north of Dallas. There was maybe about 300 people there for the March, and then perhaps 75-100 still protesting on the main intersection outside city hall and the Police Department by the time I left maybe 5 hours later. I can proudly say for every negative response (including one redneck who shouted at us to “stop killing cops”, wtf?) there were easily 40-50 positive responses with people honking, cheering us on, hanging their own signs outside their car, etc.

Sweet moment when cops (who were very civil and calm) let two little boys, one black and one white, jump in their car and showed them how the lights, and sirens, and everything worked. They were ecstatic.
