Thoughts and prayers to Kudlow and his family, hopefully God is watching over them tonight.
Are we really debating why it’s uncouth to cheer an elderly man’s heart attack?

Based on my experience and judgement many, many people, many of them decent, have thoughts like this and this has probably been the case going back to the beginning of humans. It was just something that people didn't admit to in public.
Is it really so bad if these views are brought out into the open? Is it so bad that hypocrisy is better than honesty?
The problem here seems to be that you think you're taking a stand against hypocrisy and you're not. You're just being a schmuck who apparently lacks the basic decency to recognize that even the least of us are still human. With that comes a certain minimal level of respect that we're all entitled to, especially while suffering. Even those who didn't show others that same decency are worthy of empathy. For example, there is nothing even remotely "decent" about dancing on an old man's grave before he's even dead and buried. What you're doing is like when some on the right were making cracks about John McCain's brain cancer right after he voted against repealing Obamacare. Frankly, I'm ashamed to be in the same party as folks like you.
