On what issue besides abortion is Kirk moderate?

He used to be moderate on gay rights, the environment and gun control (who cares but still it counts). He got a 47% from the AFL-CIO, and an A from the NEA.

Yet he voted against ending DADT.

Mark Kirk has got to be the worst Republican senate candidate this year.

In terms of sheer loathsomeness, I'd say Lisa Murkowski takes the cake.

John McCain is much worse in terms of "sheer loathsomeness", imo.
